I agree to provide witness services as an expert in the field in accordance with instructions received from Solicitors (my Client) in accordance with the scale of fees as set out below. Reports are usually prepared within 4 weeks of receiving all necessary documentation.

FIXED FEE for a Rapid Initial Opinion based on a 1-2 page summary of the case (usually prepared within 2 working days and includes at least one key reference): £200.

FIXED FEE for preliminary screening report (includes perusal of the medical records and an opinion as to whether I consider there has been a breach of duty): £1000* for up to 2 bundles of paginated notes.

FIXED FEE for full report on ONE of the following - liability/breach of duty, causation, condition and prognosis: £2000* for up to 2 bundles of paginated notes.

FIXED FEE for full report on TWO of the following - liability/breach of duty, causation, condition and prognosis: £2200* for up to 2 bundles of paginated notes.

FIXED FEE for full report on condition and prognosis following a report on liability/breach of duty and/or causation: £1400* for up to 2 bundles of paginated notes.

Interview and examination of claimant prior to preparing report on condition and prognosis (Venue: The Royal Free Hospital, London): £200.

Hourly rate for letters, enquiries, amendments or requests for further information: £200.

Attending conference: £200 per hour + travel costs + £100 per hour travel time.

Availability for court (subject to late cancellation fee): £2000 per day + accommodation costs + travel costs + £100 per hour travel time.

*Expedited reports within 5 working days can be provided by prior arrangement for an increased fee. All fees are subject to VAT.
